Yanga SC Calls on Fans for Strong Support Ahead of CRDB Cup Clash with TMA Stars

Yanga SC has called on its fans to turn out in large numbers at KMC Complex on Saturday, April 11, to support the team as they face TMA Stars in the CRDB Federation Cup.

Speaking to journalists, Yanga’s Head of Media and Communications, Ali Kamwe, said the club aims to win the match, advance to the quarter-finals, and maintain their five-year unbeaten run in the competition.

“We now have five years without losing a match in the CRDB Federation Cup. I believe this record will give us extra strength to fight in the match against TMA Stars,” said Kamwe.

Kamwe added that the match will be played at 12:30 PM at KMC Complex and urged fans to show up in large numbers to support the team at this crucial stage of the competition.

“The match time is 12:30 PM and it will be played at KMC Complex. As a member and fan of Yanga, you have no reason to miss the match tomorrow because it is a Round of 16 fixture,” he said.

Continuing his appeal, Kamwe stressed the importance of fan support, noting that the match requires strong motivation due to its competitive nature.

“Come alone, with a friend, or with family and enjoy the entertainment. This is not just an ordinary match as it is a Round of 16 fixture. We have seen the CRDB Cup produce unexpected results in some games,” he added.

Yanga go into the match aiming to progress further and continue their strong record in the CRDB Federation Cup, while expecting a tough challenge from TMA Stars, who are also targeting a historic quarter-final qualification for the first time.
