It is reported that Yanga SC management has completed negotiations to extend the contract of their star striker Prince Dube, according to sources.
Dube is among the players whose contracts with Yanga are set to expire at the end of the season.
Internal reports indicate that both sides have reached a full agreement, with only the final step remaining—signing the contract, which is expected to take place at any time from now.
The Yanga management has decided to extend Dube’s contract after being satisfied with his performances, particularly his goal scoring and assist contributions.
Dube is currently the leading scorer in the Yanga squad, having scored 9 league goals and provided four assists.
He has formed a strong partnership with fellow striker Laurindo Aurelio ‘Depu’, who recently returned to the squad after recovering from an injury that sidelined him for several weeks.
Depu, who joined Yanga during the January transfer window, has scored 6 league goals and provided one assist.
