Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Scotland international left-back Andy Robertson from Liverpool FC on a free transfer after his contract expired.
Robertson reached an agreement to join Spurs after a period of negotiations that lasted several months, with the London club viewing him as an important addition of experience to their squad.

Robertson, who has been one of the best left-backs in the English Premier League for over a decade, leaves Liverpool after a highly successful spell during which he won major trophies including the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League.
Reports suggest that the player accepted Spurs’ project due to the opportunity to be part of a rebuilding squad, while also being given a leadership role within the team.
At Liverpool, Robertson left a significant mark as one of the players who transformed the full-back role into a key attacking outlet, earning recognition for his assists and direct contributions to goals.
The transfer is considered one of the biggest free deals of the season in Europe, highlighting the transition Liverpool is undergoing as they enter a new era after years of success.
