Tottenham Eye Savinho as Summer Transfer Plans Take Shape

After a difficult season that left them close to the relegation zone, Tottenham Hotspur have begun early moves to restore their competitiveness, focusing on the transfer market to strengthen their attacking options ahead of next season.

According to football transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Spurs have renewed their interest in Brazilian winger Savinho, who currently plays for Manchester City.

Romano reports that Tottenham are once again monitoring Savinho ahead of the summer transfer window, after earlier negotiations collapsed in 2025. The winger was close to joining Spurs a year ago, but Manchester City blocked the move.

However, current indications suggest that a departure from the Etihad could now be more realistic, with initial discussions between the involved parties reportedly resuming. It is said that Savinho himself is open to a new challenge and is attracted by Tottenham’s ongoing rebuilding project.

In addition to Spurs, Newcastle United are also said to be closely monitoring the Brazilian winger, increasing competition for his signature.

The reports further claim that coach Roberto De Zerbi is also highly interested in Savinho, viewing him as a key target for his squad, which finished 17th last season.
