Simba SC head coach Steve Barker has confirmed that preparations for the CRDB Cup quarter-final match against TRA United have been completed.
Tomorrow, Sunday, May 17, Simba will take to the pitch at KMC Complex Stadium to face TRA United in a crucial match for a place in the semi-finals of the competition.
Speaking at a press conference earlier today, Barker acknowledged the quality of TRA United but insisted that his team is well prepared and highly motivated to secure victory.
“We are going to play against a good team that is strong in many areas, but we are ready to deal with any challenge that comes our way.”
“The players’ morale is high, we have done good preparations considering the time we had, and we are ready to go and win the match,” said Barker.
Simba and TRA United will meet for the third time this season after two previous league encounters, with Simba winning 3-0 in the second-round match and drawing 0-0 in the first-round fixture played at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium in Arusha.
