Sowah Faces Uncertain Future at Simba After Alleged Disciplinary Breach

Simba SC striker Jonathan Sowah appears to have put his future at the club in serious doubt after reportedly refusing instructions issued by the club’s management following disciplinary issues he was found guilty of.

After being found culpable of indiscipline, Simba’s management instructed Sowah to train with the youth team for a period before being reintegrated into the senior squad.

However, the Ghanaian forward is said to have defied those instructions. According to Simba Board of Directors Chairman Crescentius Magori, his future will now be decided at the end of the season.

“After being found guilty of disciplinary issues, the committee issued a punishment as initially directed,” Magori said.

“Sowah was supposed to go and train with the youth team, but he refused. When a player refuses such instructions, we look at what the disciplinary regulations say and take the appropriate action,” he added.

Sowah joined Simba as a free agent from Singida Black Stars during the last transfer window after negotiations between the clubs were completed.

However, his spell at the club has reportedly been unsuccessful due to multiple disciplinary incidents, some of which led to him missing important matches.

It now appears that Simba are likely to part ways with him at the end of the season, and may also take further contractual action following the alleged breach of agreement.
