Simba SC are reportedly in talks to sign defensive midfielder Ibrahim Bance from South African club Marumo Gallants.
The Burkina Faso international is said to be a preferred target of Simba head coach Steve Barker, who believes he can strengthen the team’s defensive midfield.
Barker is looking for a suitable replacement for Allasane Kante, who is expected to leave the club at the end of the season.
Reports indicate that Bance is set to see out his contract with Marumo Gallants at the end of the current season, potentially allowing Simba to sign him as a free agent.
If the deal goes through, Simba will gain a midfielder capable of breaking up play, reading the game effectively, and contributing to build-up play alongside other midfielders.
