Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a huge £130 million (over TSh 455 billion) offer to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich for French winger Michael Olise.
According to sources close to the club, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has identified Olise as one of the club’s top transfer targets, believing the winger could become a long-term project at the Santiago Bernabéu.
It is claimed that Pérez wants to sign Olise as a “first gift” for the new coach or the coach expected to take on a key role, José Mourinho, as the club goes through a transitional period ahead of its presidential election scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2026.
However, Bayern Munich have taken a firm stance that the player is not for sale. Honorary president Uli Hoeneß is reported to have insisted that Olise is a key part of Bayern’s long-term plans, and the club is instead prepared to improve his contract and salary to keep him at the Allianz Arena.
Olise, who is contracted until 2029, has enjoyed an outstanding season filled with creativity, goals, and assists, establishing himself as one of the most exciting players in Europe. His performances earned him the award for Best Player playing outside France, highlighting his rapid rise in international football.
