Pedro Goncalves Targets Victory as Yanga Prepare for KMC Clash

Yanga head coach Pedro Gonçalves has confirmed that his squad has returned to training today to finalize preparations for their NBC Premier League match against KMC, set to be played tomorrow, Wednesday, at KMC Complex.

Speaking at a press conference earlier today, Gonçalves said he gave his players a one-day rest after two consecutive weeks of intense match action.

The Portuguese coach emphasized that his team will approach the KMC match with full focus, aiming to secure all three points.

"Today we return to camp to prepare for tomorrow’s match against KMC. Yesterday we gave the players a rest after spending two weeks in camp to recover. We believe today’s preparations will help us achieve a good result and ensure we collect three points."

"It doesn’t matter who we play against, our goal is to collect three points in every match. We will be careful and respect KMC, but we will go into the game with the objective of winning."

"I know KMC will come with high morale because they are fighting to improve their position. They will respect us as league leaders, but we will give 100 percent to win this match," said Gonçalves.

Yanga currently lead the league standings with 48 points after 20 matches. Mathematically, they need to win at least 9 of their remaining 10 matches to secure a fifth consecutive league title.
