Head coach of Young Africans SC, Abdihamid Moalin, has confirmed that preparations for their Tanzanian Premier League match against Dodoma Jiji FC have been fully completed, emphasizing the team’s determination to secure all three points.
Yanga are set to take to the field on Wednesday at Airtel Stadium in Singida, in a match that carries significant importance as the league leaders aim to strengthen their position at the top of the table.
Moalin said his squad is in good condition, with the only concern being defender Mohammed Hussein “Zimbwe Jr”, who remains under medical supervision after returning to training from injury.
The coach acknowledged that he expects a difficult encounter against Dodoma Jiji but expressed strong confidence in his team’s quality and preparation.
He added that the conditions at Airtel Stadium could benefit his side, as they are similar to those at KMC Complex, which Yanga have frequently used as a home venue this season.
Moalin stressed that every remaining match this season is crucial, and the team must approach them with caution, with victory as the only objective.
“Preparations have gone well. The gap between matches is very short, so we had to ensure players get enough rest and are ready for tomorrow’s game. We expect a tough match, but we are prepared,” said Moalin.
“It will be a very competitive game against Dodoma Jiji. We believe the pitch conditions will help us to some extent. Despite the tight schedule, our focus is on collecting three points.”
“All players are fit except Mohammed Hussein, whom we are still monitoring. Mudathir has also returned to the squad after completing his suspension. Every remaining match is very important for us,” he added.
Yanga will enter the match aiming to maintain their dominance at the top of the league table as the title race continues to intensify.
