KMC FC Matches Unwanted Record for Most Defeats in a Single NBC Premier League Season

KMC FC have officially matched the unwanted record previously held by Kengold FC for the most defeats in a single NBC Premier League season.

KMC reached this mark after suffering a 3-0 defeat to Azam FC yesterday, marking their 20th loss of the season, with five matches still remaining in the 2025/26 campaign.

Kengold set the record two seasons ago after losing 20 matches in a 30-game season before being relegated.

So far, KMC have played 25 matches, winning only two, drawing three, and losing 20, a record that has further complicated their chances of remaining in the top flight.

The results have placed the club in serious danger of relegation to the Championship next season, with football analysts suggesting that KMC would need a miracle to survive the drop.

Their remaining fixtures show a difficult run-in, as they are set to face Coastal Union, TRA United, Namungo FC, Mashujaa FC, and Simba SC.
