Attacking midfielder Feisal Salum has been ruled out of the Tanzania national team after being diagnosed with an injury that has prevented him from continuing with international duties.
According to Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Information Officer Cliford Ndimbo, Feisal Salum “Fei Toto” arrived in camp after being called up, but his physical condition was found to be unfit for competition.
Ndimbo explained that after a thorough medical assessment by the team doctors, it was concluded that the player would not be able to feature in the two upcoming friendly matches.
"After Fei Toto arrived in camp, it was observed that he was not fit. After further examination, the medical team concluded that he would not be able to play in the two friendly matches," said Ndimbo.
Despite his withdrawal from the squad, the federation has not announced any replacement at this stage. However, officials noted that any future changes will be communicated if necessary.
