A major dispute has emerged at Real Madrid after midfielder Dani Ceballos reportedly clashed with head coach Álvaro Arbeloa, leading to a complete breakdown in their relationship.
According to reports from Marca, Ceballos will not be called up for matches for the remainder of the season, with Arbeloa allegedly unwilling to include him in the squad.
The situation escalated following a face-to-face meeting during training at Valdebebas, where discussions reportedly turned sour, marking the end of their working relationship.
It is said that after the meeting, Ceballos openly told teammates he no longer wished to have any communication with his coach, confirming that the conflict had reached a point of no return.
This fallout has directly impacted his role on the pitch. Despite being fit, the midfielder has been left out of key La Liga matches, raising concerns among fans.
Within the club, management appears to be backing the coach, framing the decision as technical, although the reality points to a complete breakdown in relations.
All signs now suggest this could be the end of Ceballos’ time at the Santiago Bernabéu. Despite having a contract running until 2027, plans are reportedly in place for him to leave in the summer in search of a new challenge, with former club Real Betis mentioned as a possible destination.
