Simba SC attacking midfielder Clatous Chama, famously known as the “Lusaka Rock,” has continued to demonstrate his impressive form after winning the Man of the Match award in three consecutive games.
The Zambian star has proven to be a key figure in Simba’s recent success, contributing directly to important goals that have helped the team maintain strong performances in the Tanzania Mainland Premier League.
Yesterday, as Simba cruised to a commanding 4-0 victory over Tanzania Prisons, Chama scored one goal and provided an assist, once again earning the Man of the Match award.
The “Lusaka Rock” has now scored in three straight matches while collecting the best player award in each of those games.
On May 3, during the intense derby against Yanga that ended in a 2-2 draw, Chama impressed by scoring a goal and providing an assist before being named Man of the Match after the final whistle.
Later, on May 6, in Simba’s clash against JKT Tanzania at Major General Isamuhyo Stadium, the midfielder scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory that secured three crucial points for Simba, while once again taking home the Man of the Match award.
Against Tanzania Prisons yesterday, Chama reached six goals this season along with four assists since his return to Msimbazi during the January transfer window.
Since rejoining Simba, Chama has already collected a total of five Man of the Match awards, highlighting both his outstanding performances and his importance to the team.
