CRDB Federation Cup Quarterfinal Fixtures Confirmed as Big Clashes Await

The official schedule for the 2025/26 CRDB Federation Cup quarterfinals has been released following today’s draw in Dar es Salaam.

According to the draw, Yanga will face JKT Tanzania in what is expected to be a highly competitive encounter, with JKT Tanzania hosting at Isamuhyo Stadium.

Yanga have never won any of their previous matches against JKT Tanzania at Isamuhyo, meaning they will be aiming to secure their first victory at the venue against the military side. It is also worth noting that the two teams are yet to meet in the second round of the league, a match that will also be played at Isamuhyo.

In another fixture, Simba SC will take on TRA United FC, with the Msimbazi Reds seeking a place in the next round against their fast-rising opponents in Tanzanian football. The match will also be played at Isamuhyo Stadium, with Simba as the home side.

Meanwhile, Coastal Union will host Singida Black Stars in a highly anticipated clash at Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga.

Elsewhere, Mashujaa FC will welcome Azam FC in Kigoma in another tightly contested matchup. The two sides have already met once in the league at Lake Tanganyika Stadium, where the match ended in a goalless draw.

This time, however, they will face off in a knockout match where a winner must be determined to progress to the semifinals.

The draw also outlined the semifinal path: the winner between Simba and TRA United will face the winner of Coastal Union vs Singida Black Stars. Meanwhile, the winner between Mashujaa FC and Azam FC will meet the winner of JKT Tanzania vs Yanga.
