The CECAFA Kagame Cup is scheduled to take place from July 18 to August 9 in Rwanda.
The Rwanda Football Federation has confirmed the tournament after announcing the start date of the 2026/27 domestic league season.
Singida Black Stars are the defending champions, having won the competition in the previous edition.
However, the tournament may take place without some of Tanzania’s biggest clubs, including Yanga SC, Simba SC, and Azam FC, as they are expected to be engaged in pre-season preparations during that period.
