Azam FC have advanced to the semi-finals of the CRDB Cup after securing a 1-0 victory against Mashujaa FC in a match played at Lake Tanganyika Stadium in Kigoma.
A free-kick goal scored by Idi Nado was enough to give Azam FC an important win in a match where the Ice Cream Makers dominated for long periods, especially during the first half.
It is now official that Azam FC will face Yanga in the semi-finals.
Three teams have already qualified for the semi-finals β Coastal Union, Yanga, and Azam FC.
The final quarter-final match will see Simba face TRA United at KMC Complex Stadium.
The winner of that match will take on Coastal Union in the semi-finals.
