Azam FC continued their impressive run at Azam Complex after securing a 2-0 victory against Tanzania Prisons in an NBC Premier League match that concluded Round 24.
Feisal Salum, popularly known as “Fei Toto,” and Iddi Nado scored the goals for Azam FC, ensuring all three points remained at home.
Fei Toto strengthened his position in the race for the league’s top scorer award by taking his tally to 12 goals, while Nado moved up to eight goals for the season.
It was another disappointing result for Tanzania Prisons, who remain in 15th place and continue to sit in the relegation zone.
Azam FC now move to 49 points and mathematically remain in the title race, sitting eight points behind league leaders Yanga.
