Azam FC have arrived in Zanzibar today ahead of their participation in the Muungano Cup, which is set to kick off tomorrow, Tuesday, April 21, at the New Amaan Complex.
Azam FC will take to the pitch on Wednesday to face KVZ in a quarter-final match.
The “ice cream makers” could potentially meet Yanga in the semi-finals if both teams win their respective matches. Azam would need to overcome KVZ, while Yanga must defeat Muembe Makumbi in their opening match scheduled for Tuesday.
