Tanzanian midfielder Alphonce Mabula, who plays for Shamakhi FC in Azerbaijan, is reportedly on the radar of Turkish Super Lig club Kasimpasa.
Mabula, whose contract with Shamakhi is expected to expire on June 30 this year, has been a key figure in midfield since joining the club from FK Spartak Subotica of Serbia.
It is reported that Kasimpasa officials have been impressed by his discipline on the pitch, his tackling ability, and his skill in initiating attacks. Early talks between the player’s management and the club are said to have already begun.
If the deal goes through, Mabula will join other Tanzanian stars making waves in Turkey, such as Novatus Miroshi at Goztepe and Diana Msewa at Trabzonspor.
