Malian midfielder Aliou Dieng has officially completed his transfer to Spanish club Valencia CF from Egyptian giants Al Ahly SC.
Dieng is expected to join Valencia’s pre-season training camp starting July 6, where he will begin working with his new teammates ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The midfielder will start adapting early to the team’s system under Valencia’s coaching staff, with the club viewing him as an important addition to strengthen their midfield.
The transfer was completed after Dieng fulfilled his duties with Al Ahly, a club he served with great success in African football.
Reports indicate that an agreement with Valencia had been reached earlier, and he is expected to sign a long-term contract before officially beginning his European football journey.
Dieng, known for his tackling ability, physical strength, and quick ball recovery, arrives at Valencia as one of the players expected to add solidity and balance to the midfield.
