Breaking news reports suggest that former Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca is set to join Manchester City to replace Pep Guardiola.
According to well-known football transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, an “EXCLUSIVE” report indicates that Maresca has already signed a three-year contract with Manchester City.
Romano states that all agreements have been fully finalized, and an official announcement confirming Maresca as the new Manchester City head coach is expected soon.
The Italian coach is reportedly taking over from Guardiola, who has led Manchester City to major success over the past 10 years, including Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League.
The reports further claim that Maresca has signed a deal running until June 2029, suggesting that the club has a long-term plan to continue its possession-based, high-tempo attacking football philosophy.
