FC Bayern Munich and France national team star Michael Olise has officially been named the Bundesliga Player of the Season for the 2025/26 campaign at the age of 24.
Olise was one of the most influential players in Bayern Munich’s journey to winning the Bundesliga title this season. The left winger finished the league campaign with 15 goals and 19 assists in 32 matches, numbers that have established him as one of the most dangerous attacking players in Europe.
According to the Bundesliga, DFL executives Marc Lenz and Steffen Merkel presented the award to Olise shortly before Bayern Munich were officially handed the Bundesliga trophy at Allianz Arena.
A Historic Season for Olise
Michael Olise has continued to prove himself as one of the world’s best wingers since joining Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace in 2024. In just two seasons in Germany, he has already won:
- Two Bundesliga titles
- Bundesliga Rookie of the Season 2024/25
- Bundesliga Player of the Season 2025/26
- Several Bundesliga Player of the Month awards
Football analysts in Germany have compared Olise to former Bayern Munich legend Arjen Robben because of his pace, creativity, cutting runs from the wing, and outstanding finishing ability.
