Coastal Union have advanced to the semi-finals of the CRDB Cup after defeating Singida BS 4-2 on penalties in their quarter-final match played at Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga.
The match ended in a goalless draw after 90 minutes, forcing the contest to be decided through a penalty shootout.
Singida BS will regret missing the chance to secure victory during normal time after being awarded a late penalty, which Ibrahim Imoro failed to convert.
Coastal Union will now wait for the winner of the other quarter-final clash between Simba and TRA United as they prepare for the semi-final stage.
