NBC Premier League side Singida Black Stars earned a crucial 1-0 victory over Namungo FC in a tightly contested match played at Airtel Mtibwa Stadium in Singida, with Mossi Ndumumwe emerging as the match-winner.
The game was highly competitive, but Singida Black Stars made good use of their home advantage to secure all three points, strengthening their push to remain among the top teams in the league standings.
Match-winner Mossi Ndumumwe played a key role for Singida Black Stars, scoring the only goal of the match after finishing off a decisive attacking move that separated the two sides.
For Namungo FC, the defeat extends their poor run of form, as they have now gone 13 consecutive matches without a win, recording six draws and six losses during that period.
Statistics show that Namungo’s last victory came against KMC FC, when they won 1-0 in January 2026, courtesy of a goal from Fabrice Ngoy.
The result leaves Namungo FC in a difficult position in the league table, sitting 11th with 24 points after 23 matches played.
On the other hand, Singida Black Stars continue their strong push for a top-four finish, currently sitting in 4th place with 38 points from 23 matches.
