The NBC Premier League continues today with Round 23 action, as two matches are scheduled to be played.
After their emphatic 4-0 victory over Mtibwa Sugar in the previous round, Singida Black Stars will once again take to their home ground, Airtel Mtipa Stadium, to face Namungo FC in a match set to kick off at 2:00 PM.
Namungo FC, under coach Juma Mgunda, were held to a goalless draw in their previous match against Mashujaa FC.
Things continue to be difficult for Mgunda and his squad, who have now gone nearly 12 matches without a victory.
At 4:00 PM, TRA United will host JKT Tanzania in a match expected to be highly competitive.
It will be a battle for a top-four position as TRA United look to continue their dominance at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium following their impressive 4-1 win over Azam FC in the previous game.
However, it is clear the match will not be easy against JKT Tanzania, who this season have shown strong ambition to finish in the top four and secure qualification for CAF competitions next season.
