The League Management and Administration Committee of the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB) has announced several disciplinary decisions following its meeting held on May 9, 2026.
1. NBC Premier League
Match: Simba SC 2-2 Young Africans (Match No. 169)
The committee handed several punishments to Yanga following the match played on May 3, 2026:
Late arrival at the stadium: The club received a strong warning for arriving at the stadium at 4:35 PM instead of the required 4:30 PM.
Refusing to use the dressing room: The club was fined TSh 30,000,000 (thirty million shillings). Players and officials reportedly refused to use the official dressing room at Major General Isamuhyo Stadium and instead used a house located outside the stadium.
Manager Walter Harson: He has been suspended for three matches and fined TSh 1,000,000 (one million shillings) for pushing Simba player Clatous Chama.
Supporter Mohamed Ally Mposo: He has been banned from entering stadiums for 12 months after entering the pitch during halftime and pouring liquids, actions interpreted as involving superstitious practices.
Match: Mtibwa Sugar 0-1 Dodoma Jiji FC (Match No. 154)
Dodoma Jiji FC: The club has been fined TSh 5,000,000 (five million shillings) for arriving late to the Match Coordination Meeting (MCM) and failing to meet the required standards regarding equipment and official representatives.
