Seven Azam FC players have reportedly suffered severe stomach pain and headaches, with most of them rushed to hospital for treatment.
Early reports indicate that several players from the squad began showing signs of illness, forcing the club’s medical team to provide close attention and care. Midfielder Ashraf Kibeku is said to have started feeling unwell around the 20th minute during Azam’s match against TRA.
Other players reported to have experienced health complications include Faisal Salum, Lusajo Mwaikenda, and Pascal Msindo, who is also said to be facing breathing and throat-related difficulties.
However, there has been no official statement from the Azam FC management regarding the cause of the situation or the seriousness of the illness.
