Aigle Noir CS have officially been crowned champions of the 2025–2026 Burundi Ligue A season in a ceremony held at NPPC Stadium.
Aigle Noir, also known as “The Fighters,” finished the season with 71 points, the same tally they recorded when winning the title last season.
In addition to lifting the league trophy, the champions were also awarded a cash prize of 50 million Burundian francs for their achievements this season.
The title further confirms Aigle Noir CS’s dominance in Burundian football as they continue to rule the top division for a second consecutive season.
