Yanga Continue Dominance with Convincing 3-0 Victory Over Coastal Union

Defending NBC Premier League champions Young Africans S.C. continued to showcase their quality after securing an emphatic 3-0 victory over Coastal Union F.C. in a match played at KMC Complex.

Wananchi entered the match determined to collect all three points, and their intent became clear early on when attacking midfielder Allan Okello opened the scoring in the 18th minute after receiving a well-placed pass from Prince Dube.

Despite intense pressure from Yanga, Coastal Union worked hard to withstand the constant attacks directed at their goal and went into halftime trailing by just one goal.

The second half began at a fast pace as Yanga increased their attacking efforts in search of a second goal, while Coastal Union also looked for an equalizer. However, Allan Okello struck again in the 62nd minute with a powerful shot following a cross from Stéphane Aziz Ki Pacôme.

The third goal was scored by Maxi Nzengeli in the 75th minute after another excellent contribution from Okello, who was directly involved in all three goals and was deservedly named Man of the Match.

With the victory, Young Africans S.C. moved to 54 points at the top of the league standings, extending their lead to eight points over their closest challengers.

In another match played earlier at Airtel Stadium, Singida Black Stars F.C. continued their impressive form by defeating Mtibwa Sugar F.C. 4-0 to climb back into fourth place in the league standings.

The standout performer in that match was Mosi Ndumumwe, who scored twice, while Lamine Jarjou and Emmanuel Keyekeh completed the rout against a Mtibwa Sugar side that appeared outclassed in every department.
