Valverde Ruled Out of El Clásico After Training Ground Injury

Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde will miss the upcoming El Clásico against FC Barcelona scheduled for Sunday due to a head injury sustained following an incident at the club’s training ground.

According to reports from inside the club and various media outlets, Valverde was injured after a heated exchange with teammate Aurélien Tchouaméni during a first-team training session at Valdebebas.

The incident is said to have started as a normal training challenge before escalating into a serious altercation, resulting in Valverde suffering a head injury that required immediate medical attention from the club’s medical staff.

Following medical examinations, it has been confirmed that the player will need approximately one to two weeks of recovery, ruling him out of the important El Clásico fixture.

Valverde’s absence is a major blow for Real Madrid given his importance in midfield, especially in high-intensity matches against their arch-rivals Barcelona.

Meanwhile, the club’s management is reportedly investigating the incident during training, expressing dissatisfaction with the disciplinary lapse that led to a key player being injured ahead of a major match.
