Simba SC continues to strengthen its squad ahead of the upcoming season, with reports indicating that the club is now monitoring FC Saint-Éloi Lupopo striker Henoc Molia, who has impressed in the DR Congo Premier League.
Sources suggest that Simba SC has shown interest in signing Molia, who currently plays for Lupopo and has been one of the standout performers this season.
The striker has delivered an outstanding campaign, scoring 13 goals and providing 9 assists, making him one of the most dangerous players in the league.
Molia, who can play as a central striker or as either a left or right winger, joined Lupopo last season from AC Rangers and is now reportedly considering a new challenge outside DR Congo.
Simba to Strengthen Attacking Department
Simba SC is expected to make significant changes to its attacking line due to a lack of consistency in front of goal in recent matches.
Head coach Steve Barker has often been forced to adjust his tactical setup, at times fielding the team without a natural striker in certain matches.
Currently, Suleiman Mwalimu is the only reliable option in that position, although he is on loan and his long-term future remains uncertain.
It is reported that Mwalimu could return to his parent club Wydad AC if a new agreement is not reached between the two parties.
Jonathan Sowah’s Future at Simba Uncertain
Meanwhile, Ghanaian striker Jonathan Sowah appears to be in a difficult situation following reported disagreements with Simba’s management.
It is said that despite being instructed to train with the youth team, Sowah has refused to do so, increasing speculation that he could be on his way out of the club.
Simba SC’s management is believed to be seeking a long-term solution to strengthen the attacking department and ensure better goal-scoring balance ahead of next season.
