Simba SC assistant coach Suleiman Matola has stressed that his team is fully prepared ahead of the Muungano Cup final against arch-rivals Yanga, saying the club is ready to fight for the title.
Speaking about preparations for the highly anticipated match, Matola said the team has completed all important aspects of training and now only needs to execute what they have worked on in training.
Preparations completed
Matola explained that Simba players have undergone thorough preparation for the final, fully aware of the difficulty that comes with such a high-stakes match.
“Tomorrow is a final and everyone knows finals are not easy games. We have prepared for a tough match and we will be careful in every department,” said Matola.
He added that Simba are ready to play with high discipline, balancing both attacking and defensive responsibilities effectively.
Winning strategy
According to Matola, Simba will approach the match with caution but also with a clear intention to attack and score goals that will secure them the trophy.
“We will be strong in building our attacks and careful in defence to ensure we achieve victory,” he explained.
The statement reflects Simba’s determination to control the game from start to finish without giving their opponents any opportunities.
