Prince Dube of Young Africans (Yanga) is locked in a tight race for the golden boot with Fabrice Ngoy of Namungo FC, with both players scoring eight goals each in the NBC Premier League this season.
Dube reached that tally after scoring twice in Yanga’s dominant 6-0 victory over Mbeya City, catching up with Ngoy who had led the chart for some time.

Other Yanga stars Mudathir Yahya and Pacome Zouzoua are also close behind, each with seven goals.
Feisal Salum “Fei Toto” of Azam FC has also scored seven goals and leads the assists chart with seven assists.
He is joined by teammate Idd Nado, who has also netted seven times this season.
Also on seven goals is Saleh Karabaka of JKT Tanzania, currently on loan from Simba SC.
Meanwhile, Laurindo Aurélio “Depu” of Yanga and Suleiman Mwalimu of Simba have each scored six goals.
