Bayern Munich have advanced to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League after a thrilling 4–3 victory over Real Madrid, sealing qualification with a 6–4 aggregate score.
The match at Allianz Arena had everything—early goals, dramatic momentum swings, and a stunning finish. Arda Güler gave Madrid a dream start with a goal in the very first minute, before Aleksandar Pavlovi equalized for Bayern in the 6th minute. Güler struck again in the 29th minute with a free kick to restore Madrid’s lead.
Harry Kane then scored in the 38th minute, but Kylian Mbappé responded with Madrid’s third goal in the 42nd minute to keep his side ahead.
The decisive moments came late in the game. Luis Díaz equalized for Bayern in the 89th minute, before Michael Olise scored a dramatic winner in stoppage time (90+4), crushing Real Madrid’s hopes.
This victory sends Bayern into the semi-finals for the first time since 2020, signaling a strong return to the top level of European football.
For Real Madrid, the elimination increases pressure on the club, as they now face the possibility of ending the season without a trophy, especially amid a tight title race in La Liga against FC Barcelona.
