Lamine Yamal, the rising star of FC Barcelona, has sent an emotional and powerful message to the club’s fans following their elimination from the UEFA Champions League.
In his message, Yamal expressed deep pain after their dream of winning the title slipped away:
“Honestly, I have no words to describe how I feel right now. I’m sitting in the dark, still can’t believe it’s over.
To our fans — I’m truly sorry. We’ve let you down again, and this is a pain I will carry every night until we fix this. You travel for us, you cheer, you cry for us, but tonight we only gave you more pain.”
Yamal made it clear that his biggest dream since joining La Masia has been to bring Barcelona back to the top of Europe, and failing to achieve that for now hurts him deeply:
“I’ve been dreaming of bringing this trophy home since my first day at La Masia. It’s the only thing I want. Watching it slip away like this feels like a nightmare I can’t wake up from.”
However, the young star promised not to give up, insisting he will keep fighting until he achieves that dream:
“Listen to me now: I will never stop. No matter how many years it takes or how much I have to give — I won’t rest until that trophy returns to Barcelona where it belongs. My life, my soul, and every drop of sweat is for this club. We will be back. And I promise you that.”
