The NBC Premier League continues today with Round 18, where two matches are set to be played in Singida and Mwanza.
Singida BS, who are going through a difficult period following a string of poor results, will be at home at Airtel Stadium hosting KMC, a side also hovering near the relegation zone.
Recently, Singida BS announced the dismissal of their entire technical bench and imposed a 40% salary cut on all players following unsatisfactory performances.
Both teams head into the match after sacking their coaches, making the encounter crucial for each side as they look to ease the pressure they are facing.
The clash between Singida BS and KMC is scheduled to kick off at 2:00 PM, followed by the match between Pamba Jiji and Yanga.
This is another fixture expected to be highly competitive, especially given the contrasting records of the two teams.
Pamba Jiji remain unbeaten at home this season and will face a tough challenge trying to stop Wananchi from taking all three points.
Yanga, sitting at the top of the league, need all three points to strengthen their lead, which currently stands at a six-point advantage.
Yanga arrived in Mwanza two days ago, and yesterday coach Pedro Goncalves led his players through their final preparations at CCM Kirumba Stadium.
