Young Africans Coach Prepares for Tough Match Against Pamba Jiji

Young Africans SC head coach, Pedro Goncalves, said that the Tanzanian Premier League match against Pamba Jiji FC, scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, April 8, at CCM Kirumba Stadium, will be challenging due to the strength of their opponents when playing at home.

Speaking to reporters ahead of the game, Goncalves stated that Pamba Jiji has built a record of not losing any matches at their home ground, making them a dangerous team, especially in front of their fans.

"We are going to face a highly competitive team that is strong when playing at home. They have not lost a match at their stadium, and many big teams have come here without securing a win," he said.

The coach added that they expect a competitive match under tough conditions, noting that the state of the pitch may not be favorable for attractive football, but this will not change their objective of seeking a victory.

"We must be strong, focused, and fight to ensure we get the three points," he emphasized.

Additionally, Goncalves pointed out that Pamba Jiji is a team that plays with strength, speed, and effectively uses the advantage of their home fans, which requires Yanga to prepare both psychologically and tactically.

In another note, the coach discussed the competitiveness of the league this season, saying that despite his team being at the top of the standings, there is still a long way to go.

"We still have many games ahead, and every team is fighting to achieve their goals, so we must remain vigilant and work hard," he said.

He added that he has great confidence in his players, and they need to demonstrate discipline, unity, and fighting spirit to achieve positive results in the match.
