Following their 3โ0 victory over Tanzania Prisons in their previous NBC Premier League match, league leaders Yanga are now set for another challenging away fixture in Mwanza.
The match will be against Pamba Jiji, scheduled to be played on Wednesday, April 8, at CCM Kirumba Stadium.
Yangaโs Head of Information and Communications, Ali Kamwe, confirmed that the team will depart from Dar es Salaam on Monday night heading to Mwanza in preparation for the match.
Kamwe acknowledged that the game against Pamba Jiji will be difficult, but emphasized that their main objective is to secure all three points to maintain and strengthen their position at the top of the league standings.
"Our squad will leave Dar es Salaam tonight at 9:00 PM heading to Mwanza for the match against Pamba Jiji to be played at CCM Kirumba on April 9."
"We have regained the advantage of being at the top with a three-point lead, so we must not repeat mistakes."
"We understand that winning the title this season requires strong determination and intense battles both on and off the pitch. I urge our fans to come out in large numbers and support the team in every match," Kamwe said.
