Dani Ceballos has decided to leave Real Madrid at the end of the current season, with a strong desire to return to his former club Real Betis.
Reports indicate that Ceballos is seeking more playing time, which has influenced his decision to depart the Santiago Bernabéu and rejoin Betis, where he previously enjoyed some of the best form of his career.
However, Real Madrid are not willing to let the midfielder leave on a free transfer, meaning any interested club will have to submit a formal offer to secure his services.
Ceballos remains under contract until 2027, having signed an extension in 2023, giving Madrid a strong position in any transfer negotiations.
